About the Conference

As a part of CMSI’s endeavour to highlight growing importance of condition monitoring, a two day National Conference on Condition Monitoring (NCCM 2024) is being organized during October 4-5, 2024. A number of Condition monitoring experts, practising specialists from various organizations, institutes and industries are expected to participate in the conference. The conference provides a platform for interaction on state of art Condition Monitoring strategies being followed worldwide It also provides an opportunity to deliberate on latest trends in the field of Condition Monitoring. The conference is also intended to generate awareness and interest among students of engineering the future torch bearers of the society. The conference aims to discuss techniques and practices such as vibration monitoring, thermography, wear debris analysis etc being employed in the industry for predictive maintenance. It would be highly beneficial for maintenance engineers of industries, R&D professionals and academicians working in this field of work.


Call for papers

NCCM-2024 invites papers related to various disciplines on Condition Monitoring systems for presentation and publication in the proceedings of the conference, and a souvenir to be brought out during the conference. The papers relevant to diagnosis and rectification of machinery faults with case studies are expected to benefit the participants most.

Guidelines for paper submission

The Technical paper should be original Contribution and not published earlier. It should contain experimental investigation with specific conclusions/ Case studies of industrial importance/ simulation studies with practical demonstration/result or Design of instruments Systems Software


Format for submission of paper

  • Paper should not exceed 8 A 4 Size sheets with Times New Roman Font
  • Margins Left 1.5 Inch Right, Top Bottom 1.0 Inch
  • Abstract 11 Point Italic with single line spacing to be placed after title and other details with Four Key words
  • Text : 12 Point normal justified, Para heading 12 Point Bold Sentence case and Spacing 1.5 lines. Figures to be inserted in jpg Format
  • At least one of the authors is required to register and attend the conference for presenting the paper
  • Maximum number of authors is 3 (three)
  • Email of the corresponding author should be given

VNIT Nagpur

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, named after the eminent engineer, planner, and statesman of the country Sir M. Visvesvaraya, is one of the thirty National Institutes of Technology in the country. It has nine undergraduate, Twenty four postgraduate programs with a total student strength of 5000, which includes about 500 PhD scholars. A lush green VNIT campus is sprawled over 214 acres, located centrally in the city of Nagpur, with residential facility for about 3500 students. Present NIRF ranking of VNIT is thirty two and is amongst top five NITs of the country. Historically, this institute started as a Government Engineering College in 1956, got converted into Regional Engineering College in 1960 and eventually got the status of National Institute in 2002. Today, VNIT is Institute of National importance and has ascended itself from a teaching-oriented campus to a blend of research and teaching. Institute has many R&D projects funded through Government and private agencies. Faculty, research scholars, and students are actively involved in the research activities which is reflected in the increased number of publications, research funds, and many national and international events being arranged on the campus.

Condition Monitoring Society of India
Condition Monitoring Society of India (CMSI) was established in 2003 with an intention to promote and emphasize the importance of condition monitoring among professionals/ practicing engineers plant engineers by way of conducting conferences and workshops from time to time. The society also intends to be a common platform for condition monitoring professionals to share their experience and expertise. The society publishes a newsletter to keep members abreast of the developments in the field. The society has grown rapidly by setting up local chapters at different locations all over India.

About the Nagpur city:
Nagpur is the third largest city and the winter capital of Maharashtra State. Nagpur lies precisely at the centre of the country with the Zero Mile Marker indicating the geographical centre of India. In the latest rankings of 100 developing smart cities given by the Union Ministry of Urban Development, Nagpur stood first in Maharashtra state and second in India.
