Research Objective: Our research group aims to develop innovative and sustainable catalytic systems for solar energy utilization and environmental remediation, particularly wastewater treatment. Our research explores nanomaterials for applications such as UV/visible-light-driven photocatalytic water splitting for green Hydrogen generation, activation of persulfate/peroxymonosulfate (PS/PMS), catalytic organic transformations, antibacterial activity, CO₂ reduction, microplastic degradation, and degradation of emerging organic pollutants from simulated wastewater containing anionic and cationic dyes. The group is also working on the development of nanoenzymes for biomimetic and catalytic applications.
