| I joined VNIT IN 1996.It was VRCE, then.Over these 27 years, I have been teaching to 1st-year B.Tech Chemistry /Applied Chemistry and Organic Chemistry and Synthesis to 3 sem Chemical Engineering students since its inception in 2007. After starting Chemical Engineering in about 7 years, I also taught Organic Chemical technology to 4-semester students. These are core subjects and are taught along with respective practicals. Similarly, I am also teaching Principles of Organic Chemistry to MSc 1st year since its starting in 2012. Research areas of interest include :1 thermocatalytic transformation of bio-oil derived from Industrial waste lignin /Biomass.2) Modified lignin blends in commercial polymers.3)Biodiesel from waste cooking oil through Heterogeneous Catalysis4)Organichloro pesticide residue analysis from soil water plant system. |
