Brief Bio
Dr Ramani V. Motghare joined the Department of Chemistry, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur in 2006. She did her M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry) and Ph.D (Chemistry) from Institute of Science, Nagpur, (Nagpur University). She has been actively involved in teaching B.Tech and M.Sc courses. She has completed one research project funded by Department of Science and Technology, during 2013-2015. Ph.D supervision: two have been awarded and five are in progress. Fourteen M.Sc students have completed their PG projects and two are in progress. Her research interest is focussed on developing newer analysis methods mostly Sensors based on advanced electroanalytical techniques like electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and various voltammetric techniques. Synthesis and characterization of functional nano materials for improving the sensitivity and selectivity of these electrochemical sensors.
