M.Sc. (Physics) course started in 2012 lays thrust on fundamental physics and also on applied Physics courses. In M.Sc. course, the project work has a significant weightage which is expected to enhance the quality of project work and give motivation towards research.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty who guide UG, PG and Ph.D. students. The department has number of ongoing as well as completed R&amp;D projects.\u00a0 The areas of research include Solid State Ionics, Nanomaterials, Functional Glasses and Glass Ceramics, Electroceramics, Magnetic materials, Polymers, Computational Physics, Photovoltaics, sensors, supercapacitors &amp; optoelectronic devices, Theoretical Physics \u2013 Quantum Computing, Quantum Information Theory and Quantum Entanglement, Mathematical Physics, Chaos and Nonlinear Dynamics, Many-Body Condensed Matter Physics.
