Brief Bio
Dr. Debarati Datta graduated in Civil Engineering from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur (now IIEST Shibpur) in 2000. She completed her Masters in Structural Engineering from same institute in 2004. In the same year, she joined Ph.D. programme in Structural Engineering at IIT Bombay and got her Doctoral degree in 2009. Her PhD thesis title is “Reliability based design of steel moment frames using Park-Ang Damage index”
