Joined  Chemical Engineering Department, VNIT Nagpur as an assistant Professor in 2015. Published one patent along with more than 25 SCI\/SCIE journal papers and many more conference papers\/presentations. Dr. Methekar  guided 04 Ph.D Students and 6 Master Students. Current active area of research is the recycling of lithium ion battery, life cycle assessment, Analysis of Kidney stones formation thruogh system engnieering perspective. Prior joinning to VNIT Nagpur, Dr. Methekar Worked as a Research Engineer at JFWTC- GE India from 2010 to 2015. At GE, Dr. Methekar was Bestowed with the awards like Technical Excellance award and Business Impact awards. Dr. Methekar has also worked as Research Associate at the University of Saint Louis, Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. While working as a research associate, he won the Travel grant awards from battery division of the electrochemical Sociaty of USA.<\/td>        <\/tr>\n
