Brief Bio
Dr. Srinivasan V has joined the Department of Civil Engineering in April 2018. He completed his master’s and doctoral degrees from IIT Kanpur in the years 2011 and 2017, respectively. He teaches departmental core (DC) courses like Engineering Geology & Concrete Engineering at the undergraduate level and Geomechanics & Advanced Foundation Engineering at the postgraduate level. His research interests include Experimental and computational Geomechanics, Physical and numerical modeling of Geotechnical systems, Coalescence of shallow foundations and anchor systems, Simplified analytical solutions for foundation problems, and Characterization of materials. He is actively involved in outreach and research activities.
