| Prabhat Kumar Sharma is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, India. He was a visiting researcher in The Information, Inference & Intelligence Group, Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Systems at University of Southern California, USA during Sept 2023 to March 2024. He is a recipient of the Visvesvaraya Young Faculty Research Fellowship from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, URSI Young Indian Radio Scientist Award in 2019 and SERB SIRE fellowship 2023. He has served IEEE Nagpur subsection as Chair for the years 2022 and 2023, and as Secretary for the year 2021. He is Nodal Officer for VNIT 5G Lab which is supported by the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. He is serving on the editorial boards of IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions of Molecular Biological and Multiscale Communications IEEE Communications Letters and IEEE Wireless Communication Letters. His current research interests include 6G and beyond wireless, quantum, molecular and biological communications systems, . |
