| Pradnya Ghare received her PhD degree in the area of Body Area Networks from Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur in the year 2017. Her total teaching experience is more than 20 years and is working in the area of EEG signal processing and Wireless sensor networks. She authored many research papers in various conferences and SCI indexed journals. She worked as reviewer for various conferences and journals. Till now 02 students have completed PhD under her and 03 PhD students are working under her guidance. She has filed patents for two products namely saline level monitoring system and smart water bottle. She is member of various Technical societies – such as IEEE (senior member), IETE. She has delivered many guest lectures in the areas related to sensor networks, communication networks, Analog circuits etc. Involvement in Outreach activity - 1) Member of Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA)- An initiative of Govt of India to promote knowledge of science and technology related projects for students of Municipal corporation schools.2) Guidance to school teachers under ATAL Tinkering scheme organized by Vigyan Bharati.She has received a project under SERB POWER grant for 31 lacs. She has developed various prototypes such as1) Wireless saline level indicator (alert) system for hospitals.2) ‘Smart Water Bottle - an IoT product for healthcare’ 3) Automated sanitizer dispenser unit during COVID 19. |
