Brief Bio
Vipin Kamble completed his M.Tech. from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, and earned his B.Tech. and Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur. He was associated with the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur, for four years and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at VNIT Nagpur. His research areas include image processing and related topics, with a specific focus on noise estimation and quality assessment. He is also working on socially impactful domains such as plant disease identification, skin cancer detection, and facial expression recognition. Dr. Kamble has published multiple journal papers in reputed SCI-indexed journals, as well as conference papers. In addition to his publications, he has successfully completed one project titled “Deaf & Mute Sign Language Translation using AI,” funded by SERB (now ANRF), and is the Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) for an ICMR-funded project titled “Development of an Indigenous AI-Assisted Computer-Aided System for Automated Detection and Grading of Colorectal Cancer Severity Using H and E-Stained Histopathological Imaging,” worth Rs. 65 lakhs.
