We are delighted to share highlights from the recent student felicitation event held at VNIT Nagpur. The program marked the successful disbursement of scholarships to 13 meritorious women engineering students from VNIT Nagpur under the Rupa Rahul Bajaj Scholarship for Women in Engineering (RRBSWE).
A total scholarship amount of INR 24,91,250 has been awarded for Year 1 (Semester 1 & 2), benefiting students across core engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Under this prestigious initiative, each selected student receives INR 2 lakhs per year throughout the 4-year engineering program, enabling them to overcome financial constraints and focus on academic excellence.
The event featured certificates and a Goodies box distribution to the scholars, celebrating their achievements and motivating them to continue striving for excellence. The scholarship program is coordinated by Dr. Anvesh Reddy (Professor In-Charge, Institute Scholarships) under the guidance of Prof. Ratnesh Kumar (Former Dean, Student Welfare), Prof. Umesh Deshpande (Dean, Student Welfare), and Prof. Prem Lal Patel (Director, VNIT Nagpur).
