

The Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2025 kicked off on September 17, 2025, at the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) in Nagpur. The campaign began with a Swachhata Pledge administered by Director Professor Prem Lal Patel to faculty, staff, and officers, committing to cleanliness.
Key Campaign Activities :
Following the pledge, a Shramdaan (voluntary cleaning) event was held, with enthusiastic participation from faculty, staff, and sanitation workers. The activities focused on cleaning the campus and its surrounding areas. Additionally, VNIT officers and employees have pledged to dedicate 100 hours annually to cleanliness, including two hours of voluntary work each week.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to raise public awareness and inspire citizens to adopt cleanliness as a daily practice. Public awareness workshops are also being conducted throughout the campaign, which runs from September 17 to October 2, 2025.
