The VRCE-VNIT Nagpur Alumni-Pune Chapter organized a vibrant alumni meet on November 30, 2025, at Residency Club, Pune, attended by over 145 alumni and families. The event was graced by Director Prof. Premlal Patel, Dean (International Affairs & Alumni) Prof. K.M. Bhurchandi, and Alumni Coordinator Dr. Diwakar Z. Shende from VNIT Nagpur, along with VNITAA representatives Mr. Uday Kamath and Mr. Joginder Singh Sond.
Dr. PremLal Patel shared insightful updates on VNIT’s growth, commitments and future vision of the institute. He stressed on the strong association and contribution of Alumni in various fronts like students’ internships, training & skill development and placement. VRCE-VNIT Alumni can contribute their expertise and knowledge by interaction with the students, motivate and train them as and when possible. Prof. K. M. Bhurchandi highlighted the institute’s academic, infrastructure and research advancements followed by various roles that can be taken by the alumni for contributing to their alma-matter on issues like internationalization of education and perception and outreach improvement.
Distinguished alumni Mr. M.S. Unnikrishnan (1982/Mech), Mr. Arun Tripathi (2000/EEE), Mr. Vinay Galande (1965/Civil), Mr. Krishan A.S. Oberoi (1967/Mech), and Mr. Prakash Padiyar (1982/Meta) were felicitated by VNIT Administration. Mr. Unnikrishnan shared his views and inspired all with his journey on industry-institute connect.
