VNIT salutes the unmatched valour and indomitable spirit of the Indian Armed Forces, who continue to stand as the guardians of our nation’s sovereignty and pride. Operation Sindoor is a resounding testament to their courage and precision—a swift and decisive retribution against the perpetrators of the recent dastardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. By eliminating terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), and targeting terrorists and their enablers, our armed forces have once again demonstrated their unwavering resolve to uphold the nation’s honour and protect innocent lives. Their heroism not only secures our borders but also inspires every Indian to rise in unity, discipline, and patriotism. We remain committed to nurturing in our students the same values of service, sacrifice, and steadfastness that define the Armed Forces of India.Under Prime Minister Modiji’s leadership, India has implemented a zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism. According to data from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the incidence of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir has decreased by 50% from 2018 to 2022. Civilian fatalities in terrorist attacks have significantly decreased, from 86 in 2018 to 30 in 2022. Stone pelting, previously a frequent event in Kashmir, has practically ceased. Emotionally, what resonates most with the average Indian is the sense of self-respect that now accompanies a national calamity. We are no longer a nation that endures suffering in silence. Under Modiji, the message is unequivocal: India will mourn, yet it will also react with accuracy, strength, intent, and dignity.
