Big win for sustainable innovation!
On Feb 4, 2026, VNIT Nagpur signed an MoU with Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORSL), Navi Mumbai, to boost collaboration in bioenergy, waste management & environmental sustainability. Signed by VNIT Director Prof. Prem Lal Patel (with Dean R&C Prof. Yashwant Katpatal present) & ORSL Chief Scientist Dr. Manju Tanwar.
Key focus: Joint R&D on biogas/BioCNG optimization, waste valorisation, carbon materials, leachate treatment & AI/ML in eco-processes. Plans include external funding (DST, DBT, MNRE, MoEFCC), student internships, expert exchanges, workshops, patents & commercialization. This partnership accelerates translational research for cleaner energy & skilled talent!
