IVth year B.Arch. students, Ruchith Rao, Abhishek C, Girish D and Anusha S participated and won 2nd prize at the “HOSMAC Global Architectural Student Competition for hospital design”

        The Department was established by Madhya Pradesh Government in 1947. In the year 1960, the Diploma course in Architecture was converted into fulltime degree course. At present, department offers Undergraduate course in Architecture & Post Graduate course in Urban Planning. The department has other areas like urban sustainability, urban infrastructures etc. developed technical expertise in the field of low cost building technology and appropriate technology energy efficient architecture, urban sustainability. It has an active consultancy cell serving the central part of India. Some of the prestigious projects include NEERI, Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha, NIT, Silchar, Assam, Nagpur University, Amravati University, PKV, Akola, NIIT, Jaipur, Zilla Parishad, Wardha.
