1.Ultrasonic Sensor based Automated Sanitizer Dispenser has been developed under Centre of Excellence (Commbedded Systems) by Mrs. Pooja Madhumatke and Dr. Pradnya Ghare.

To deal with COVID-19 pandemic situation, automated sanitizer dispenser is the need of hour. To address this need, this automated sanitizer unit have been designed under department of Electronics and communication. These units are developed by Dr. Pradnya Ghare (Assistant Professor at Dept of ECE) and Pooja Madhumatke (Lab Engineer of CoE). This product has various features such as: It is Touch Free and Low Cost Dispenser. Secondly, we have developed 2 types of units: One is based on Solenoid valve and TSOP sensor and another is based on Ultrasonic sensor and controller.

It has droplet or mist spray outlet. Moreover, these models are suitable for Indoor and Outdoor usage.
TSOP sensor module detects object at fixed range of 20 cm and turns the motor ‘ON’ and hence dispenses sanitizer. Other unit is based on ultrasonic sensor and microcontroller.  It requires programming for detecting the obstacle and turning motor ‘ON’.
We have developed 6 such units in our lab. This product is working on 12V supply. These are very useful in public areas such as schools, colleges, hospitals and offices.
