A reunion of VNIT alumni in Portland, Oregon was held on 15 June.
@30 alumni spread across the branches and batches from 1992 to 2021 attended the meet. Prof Ajay Likhite (Associate Dean Alumni) was present for the reunion.
The event demonstrated the importance of networking as everyone was pleasantly surprised and happy to find these many VNITans in Portland alone.
The small presentation was given by Prof Likhite to showcase the work done by alumni up till now as well as the work in progress for Gurudakshina Complex,
The impact was immediately seen with various queries and questions as how they can contribute to the alma mater.
3 alumni from the East Coast, who were visiting Portland also attended the event.
The meet concluded with the resolution by the alumni to meet in near future and come up with a proposal for contributing to the development of the institute
