Centre of Excellence (CoE) on Commbedded Systems: Hybridization of Communication and Embedded Systems, at Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur is established under Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP- II) in the year October, 2013. Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is a major participant in the venture. The main objective of CoE is academic and industrial collaboration; providing high quality training, product development and dedicated research.
CoE VNIT is one of the 30 CoEs established by NPIU across India and one of the 6 CoE’s established by CFTIs. It is the only CoE working in the thematic area of Communication and Embedded Systems.
All the engineers working and assisting in CoE have encyclopedic knowledge and work experience.
They work on numerous research projects, Industry projects, testing and prototype development.
Opportunities are given to all the students working or those who wish to work in the field of Electronics and Communication. The student can also undergo training on a variety of basic and advanced courses. Persistent guidance and constant assistance is given by experienced professionals.
Fulfilling summer internships are provided by the centre to the students in order to get an enlightening experience and a precise industrial exposure.
Various Guest Lectures, Workshops, Training Programs, Seminars are conducted to give a stimulus and comprehensive learning opportunity to Electronics enthusiasts.
CoE has the entire required infrastructure as well as lab equipments for enhancing all round development. The projects completed here have been awarded various prizes and recognized all over India.
CoE, VNIT supports UG / PG students / Ph.D. Scholars and faculties by extending financial assistance for research publications, research projects and prototype development. CoE VNIT is committed to play major role in central India as source of skilled manpower, technical knowhow and high end lab facilities in the thematic area.
