Brief Bio
Dr. Atul Ballal has 16 years experience in the Department of Metallurgial and Materials Engineering, VNIT Nagpur. Prior to that, he worked 1 year as Software Engineer in Mahindra British Telecom, Pune. He has taught Deformation Behaviour of Materials, Mechanical Processing of Materials, Ceramic Materials, Introduction to Materials Science and Engineering, Advanced Composite Materials. His specialization is on high temperature mechanical behaviour of materials and Ceramic materials. He has guided 9 PhD projects, 23 MTech projects and 21 BTech projects. He has brought in 9 funded research projects and has 40 journal publications and 26 conference publications. He has coordinated for vacation internship of over 150 students in R&D organizations and industries. He has also delivered expert lectures at national level institutes and workshops.
