• The children of tribal areas face a lot of difficulty in getting higher education and the government asks them for cast validity and they don’t have it, so they can’t get further education. We should do something for that and tell it in front.

• A meeting was held with the college’s management and the Principal Sir, and the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan was discussed with everyone.”
• This college had not yet registered under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, so they were informed about how to register and the benefits of doing so.”
• It was learned during the discussion that this Homeopathy Medical College already carries out many service activities for rural people, such as running free clinics once a week in 10 villages.”

• At this college, we met with the Principal, and later had a meeting with the UBA Cell, where we discussed how to work together in the future.
•  The PI Coordinator also shared details about all the work the college has done under UBA.”

“During our visit to the college, we had the opportunity to meet with the Principal, followed by a meeting with the UBA Cell. In the meeting, we discussed future collaboration and potential activities under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.

Yashwantrao Chawhan Arts, Commerce and Science College, Lakhandur

• A meeting was held at the institute with the Principal, PI Coordinator, and other professors, during which discussions were held regarding the ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’ (UBA)
• The college has been associated with the ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’ (UBA) for the past three years but has not been able to undertake any activities during this period. However, this time, the PI Coordinator has assured that the college will actively implement projects under UBA.
• The educational situation in the Lakhandur region is quite challenging, and children there are unable to progress in their education. This serious issue can be addressed through skill development projects under the ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’ (UBA). This topic was also discussed in the meeting.

Late Nirdhan Patil Vaghaye Arts Commerce and Science College, Sangadi

• The Principal of this college said that various programs are mandated by the Ministry of Education; if we focus on conducting all these programs, there will be no time left to actually teach the students.

Govindrao Sekasariya Commerce College

• We visited Govindrao Seksaria Commerce College, where we met the Principal and the PI Coordinator. The PI Coordinator informed us about the activities carried out by the college so far under UBA.”
• This college is happy to be associated with UBA and is actively prepared to undertake various social activities and work towards rural development.
• During this session, village surveys will be conducted in the five villages adopted by the college, and project proposals will be prepared under UBA

• We visited Bajaj College of Science, Wardha. This college is registered under UBA. During the visit, we met the Principal and the PI Coordinator and had a discussion regarding UBA
• There was a positive attitude towards UBA in this college, and the Principal mentioned that various activities for rural development will be undertaken in the future.
• Through the initiatives of this college, efforts are being made to enhance the quality of education in government schools of villages, while also making significant contributions towards the overall improvement of the educational sector in Wardha district.

• Interacted with the Principal of the institute.
• A meeting was conducted with the Institute’s PI Coordinator and the UBA Cell Professor to discuss the initiatives undertaken by the college under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) . During the discussion, details regarding the activities completed so far were reviewed, and the effectiveness of the initiatives was assessed. Future action plans and strategies for enhancing community engagement under UBA were also briefly discussed.

Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Research and Technology

• A meeting was held with the Principal and PI Coordinator of the college, during which a detailed discussion took place regarding the study of engineering and various aspects of UBA activities. The conversation also covered how the engineering curriculum can be integrated with rural development initiatives and how the college can actively contribute to the objectives of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.          
• The PI Coordinator of this college was newly appointed and did not have much information about the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA).   
• A meeting was conducted with the UBA Cell of the college, during which detailed information was provided regarding the objectives, framework, and operational guidelines of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA). The discussion included the selection of villages, identification of key development issues, preparation of action plans, and strategies for effective community engagement. The team was guided on how to plan and execute activities aligned with the UBA vision for rural development.
• This year, the UBA Cell has assured that direct interventions and activities will be implemented in the five villages adopted under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA). These activities will focus on addressing key developmental issues and will be carried out in alignment with the objectives and framework of UBA to ensure meaningful impact in the selected villages.

Sarvodaya Shikshan Mandal’S Sardar Patel Mahavidyalaya, Chandrapur

• The principal of this college informed us that you will organize the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) meeting online every two months, so that all UBA PI coordinators stay connected with you and the work remains in progress.

Guru Sai Polytechnic College ,Mauza Datala Chandrapur

• Meeting with principal & New PI coordinator.
• Due to the death of the PI Coordinator of this college, the UBA activities were halted. The password and ID details were also unavailable, which resulted in no attention being paid to the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA)
• However, when we met the Principal, he appreciated the effort. We prepared and handed over the new UBA ID and password, and the Principal assigned the responsibility of managing UBA activities to the new faculty member
• The Principal mentioned that in the future, the college will carry out the UBA activities in an efficient manner.

Government College Of Engineering, Chandrapur

• This college had not yet registered under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, so they were informed about how to register and the benefits of doing so.
• The number of professors in this college is low, and new faculty recruitment has not yet taken place; therefore, the head of the college stated that they will not proceed with UBA registration at this time.

Anand Niketan Arts Commerce Science College, Warora

• Met with the PI Coordinator and had a positive discussion about the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.
• login ID of this college had been inactive for 2 years, and it was reactivated for them.
• We discussed conducting a survey and organizing a free blood testing camp in the five adopted villages. Although the college has been part of the UBA for the past six years, no one had taken active initiative until now. But since you have come forward, we will actively work on the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.

A.N.A.C. Krushi College, Warora

• The Agriculture College is active in the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and in the future, it plans to undertake various new projects in the field of agriculture through this initiative to contribute to rural development, as stated by the Principal.
• Had a positive discussion about the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan with the Principal and PI Coordinator of the Agriculture College.
• The PI Coordinator of this college attended a one-day orientation program at VNIT, after which they wrote a project proposal that was also selected.
• They mentioned that a UBA cell will be created in the college

• The B.Ed. College has been associated with the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan for the past 5 years, but no activities have been conducted in the last 3 years. However, during our visit, we had a discussion with the PI Coordinator, who expressed willingness to actively engage in the work going forward.
• There was a discussion about the five adopted villages, and it was decided that in the coming days, a survey and free blood testing camps will be conducted in those villages.
• This year, a UBA cell will be established in the college.
