Mine Environmental Laboratory
The Environmental Laboratory established in the department is an all-in-one facility covering all aspects of mine environment (air, water), underground mine ventilation and climate engineering. It is a state of the art laboratory with advanced equipment like X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRF), Digital Gas Chromatograph, Gravimetric dust sampler, Atomic Absorption Spectrophometer, etc.
This laboratory offers testing services for drinking water, waste water and air quality monitoring, Mine gases detection, ventilation network analysis and many other related services
