                  AXIS’25 – VNIT’s Tech Extravaganza Concludes with Record-Breaking Success!

Venue: VNIT Campus, Nagpur

The three-day annual technical festival of VNIT Nagpur, AXIS’25, concluded with resounding success, attracting over 11,000 participants across various events and an outstanding footfall of 35,000+ attendees. With a dynamic blend of cutting-edge technology, high-stakes competitions, inspiring speaker sessions, and thrilling entertainment, AXIS’25 proved to be Central India’s premier tech fest once again.

Day 1: A Grand Kickoff

AXIS’25 began on 21st March 2025 with an energetic inaugural ceremony in the VNIT auditorium. The event was graced by esteemed guests:

  • Lt. Gen. D.P. Pandey (Indian Army) – A decorated officer who shared invaluable insights on leadership and discipline.
  • Mr. Manas Patnaik (Founder, Manas Patnaik YouTube Channel) – A digital educator whose journey inspired students to explore unconventional career paths.
  • Mr. Daniel Johnson (Deputy GM, L&T) – A senior industry expert who highlighted emerging trends in engineering and infrastructure.

The ceremony featured motivational speeches, electrifying performances by Illuminati Dance Crew, and a spectacular fireworks display, setting the stage for an exciting festival.

Day 2: Innovation and Technology Take Center Stage

The second day of AXIS’25 was packed with technical exhibitions, competitions, and hands-on workshops. Attendees explored Exhibitions by the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Raman Science Center, and more. AutoExpo and Robowars were the biggest attractions, drawing huge crowds eager to witness automobile innovations and intense robotic battles. Workshops on AI/ML, Ethical Hacking, and Generative AI saw an enthusiastic participation of over 300 students, while CRC Events and Gamezone kept participants engaged. The day ended with the Under25 Summit, where young leaders shared their insights, leaving the audience inspired.

Day 3: A Grand Finale of Technology and Excitement

The final day saw an exciting mix of Tech Summit sessions, Vintage Car Exhibitions, and thrilling competitions. Distinguished speakers took the stage to inspire and educate attendees:

  • Jatin Wahane (World’s Youngest Rocket Scientist) – A visionary who shared his experiences in space research and innovation.
  • Rama Shankar Pandey (Social Defence Fellow) – A thought leader who discussed the intersection of technology and social responsibility.
  • F. M. Mahajan (CGM, GAIL India Ltd.) – An expert in the energy sector who spoke about technological advancements in the industry.
  • Rakesh Prakash Singh (CGM & Regional Officer, NHAI, RO, Nagpur) – A key figure in national infrastructure projects who shared insights on smart highways and sustainable development.

Robowars and Proshow marked the perfect ending, with high-energy battles followed by a mesmerizing live performance, leaving the VNIT crowd in awe.

The massive success of AXIS’25 would not have been possible without the guidance and unwavering support of our Professor Incharges – Dr. Manmohan Dass Goel, Dr. Nikhil Deep Gupta, and Dr. Abhay Tawalare. Additionally, the dedication of over 200+ event managers and organizers played a crucial role in ensuring smooth execution, making AXIS’25 a truly grand and unforgettable experience.

With over 11,000 participants, 300+ workshop attendees, and a record-breaking footfall of 35,000+, AXIS’25 established itself as one of the biggest and most successful editions ever.
