Nagpur, 21, August 2025 – Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur held a meeting with Prof. Prashant Khare, Bradley Jones Chair and Head of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, University of Cincinnati (UC), USA, to explore avenues of academic and research collaboration. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Kishor M. Bhurchandi, Dean (International Affairs & Alumni), along with Dr. Makarand M. Lokhande, Associate Dean (International Affairs & Ranking).
During the interaction, Prof. Khare highlighted several opportunities for VNIT students and faculty at UC, including Student Internships, Graduate Programs at UC, Faculty and Ph.D. Exchange program, Joint Research and Conferences. Support in GIAN, SPARK, and VAJRA etc.
This meeting marks an important step toward strengthening international collaboration and creating new opportunities for VNIT students and faculty with a leading U.S. university.
