On 1 October 2026, VNIT Nagpur observed ‘Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’ through Swachhata Pledge and Shramdaan Activities.
Deans, Heads of Departments, Officers and staff took the Swachhata Hi Seva Pledge across their respective departments and sections. A campus-wide Shramdaan witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty, staff, sanitation personnel and students, coming together to clean and beautify the institute premises.
As part of this commitment, VNIT officers and employees have pledged 100 hours annually towards cleanliness, including 2 hours of voluntary work every week—strengthening the spirit of Jan Bhagidari and making cleanliness a way of life.
Public awareness workshops are also being conducted across various divisions during the campaign to promote responsible cleanliness practices and inspire collective action.
