Celebrating Legacy, Connections & Fellowship
A memorable evening of nostalgia, camaraderie and cherished connections unfolded at Kota House, New Delhi, as 120+ VNIT alumni and their families, representing batches from 1967 to 2026, came together to celebrate the enduring spirit of the VNIT fraternity.
The reunion was graced by Dr. Premlal Patel, Director, VNIT Nagpur; Dr. K. M. Bhurchandi, Dean, International & Alumni Affairs; Dr. S. S. Bhat, Associate Dean – Alumni; Mr. Uday Kamat, Former Chairman; and Mr. Joginder Singh Sond, Executive Director, VNITAA. On the occasion, Prof. K. M. Bhurchandi presented an overview of the Institute’s current status, developments and affairs before the gathering.
The Core Team felicitated distinguished alumni Shri A. K. Gupta (1967), Shri S. S. Ahuja (1970), Shri Naskar (1981), and Ar. Aparna (1995), celebrating their enduring association with the VNIT family.
A special moment of the evening was the celebration of the 80th birthday of Shri Shashi Raj Ahuja, Founder of the VNITAA Delhi Chapter, honouring his invaluable contribution to strengthening the alumni network and its legacy.
